FOR NEW PARENTS
You weren’t handed an instruction manual. That’s normal.
There’s a place to start, and a path that goes deeper from there. Most parents begin in the Village, then move into Thrive Group, then Inner Guidance, as they’re ready for each layer.
Your Journey As A New Parent
1: The Parenting Village
Start here, ongoing monthly support, community, connection
2: Thrive
Go deeper with a small group, in person in Canberra
3: Inner Guidance
The most personal layer of support
A DIFFERENT STARTING POINT
Most new parent support focuses on the baby. We focus on you.
Your baby will be looked after by a hundred different books, apps and well-meaning relatives. What’s harder to find is somewhere that asks how you’re going, the person who’s meant to know what they’re doing and quietly doesn’t.
Parenting isn’t instinctive. It’s trial and error, with the occasional 2am crisis of confidence. That’s why support here isn’t a single class, it’s a journey with depth: start in the Village, and go further whenever you’re ready for the next layer.
“It isn’t just the children who are growing. We are too.”
YOUR JOURNEY AS A NEW PARENT
Three layers, as deep as you need to go
Most parents start in the Village and stay there for years. Some go further when they’re ready. There’s no rush, and no skipping ahead required.
START HERE
The Parenting Village
A monthly theme, a video teaching from Tracey, journal prompts that actually shift something, and a Zoom debrief where you’ll laugh, vent and troubleshoot with parents in the same chaos as you. This is the entry point for every new parent, and where most families stay.
GO DEEPER
Thrive Group
For parents who’ve found their footing in the Village and want to work through things more closely with a small group. A more focused, more personal step than the Village’s monthly rhythm.
THE DEEPEST LAYER
Inner Guidance
The most individual level of support, for the parents who want to work directly on what’s underneath the parenting, not just the parenting itself.
NEED SOMETHING MORE SPECIFIC?
A few other ways Tracey can support you
Not everyone needs the full course. These three paths cover the situations we’re asked about most.
1:1 parent coaching
For when something specific keeps tripping you up, sleep, a tricky behaviour, your own triggers, and you want it worked through directly with Tracey.
Individual sessions
Birth story alchemy
If your birth didn’t go the way you hoped and it’s still sitting with you, this is dedicated space to process and integrate that story.
Single session
Every woman who has given birth knows this in some way. Something shifts. The person who walks out of that birth room is not quite the same as the person who walked in.
Tracey Anderson Askew has spent more than 20 years exploring what that transformation is, and how to prepare for it with more intention.
Through her training in Rapid Transformational Therapy, Tracey brings a deeper understanding of how beliefs, fear and the nervous system shape the birth experience. This is part of what gives her work its depth. She does not just teach couples what happens in labour. She helps them understand what may be happening underneath the surface too.
When a woman approaches labour from a place of fear, her body can move into stress and tension. When she feels calm, safe and supported, her body is far more able to work with the process of birth. This is why preparation matters so much. Not just information, but the kind of preparation that helps you feel different on the inside.
That is what Transform Your Birth is designed to do.
It helps you understand birth, practise tools that support calm and confidence, and gently shift the fears and stories that may otherwise make the experience harder than it needs to be.
This is why the work does not stop with the workshop. What happens in birth can shape how you enter parenthood, and that is why ongoing support matters too.

Frequently asked q’s
Before you decide
Do I need to start at the Village, or can I jump straight to Thrive Group?
Most parents start in the Village, it’s the foundation everything else builds on.
How do I know when I'm ready to move from the Village to Thrive Group?
There’s no fixed timeline. Many parents stay in the Village for years, and that’s exactly where they’re meant to be. Others feel ready to go deeper sooner.
I'm not coping. Is coaching better than the Village?
If something specific is weighing on you heavily, 1:1 coaching with Tracey will usually get there faster than a group setting. You’re welcome to reach out and she’ll help you work out which is the better starting point.
My baby is only a few weeks old. Is the Village still right for me?
Yes. The Village is built to support parents at any stage, from the earliest weeks through the years that follow.
