Birth can be different.
So can the way you experience it.

WHERE YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT NOW

You want to feel ready.
But it is hard to know what that really looks like.

Pregnancy can bring up a lot. Excitement. Uncertainty. Questions you did not expect. You might be reading books, listening to other people’s stories, scrolling late at night, and trying to make sense of all the advice coming your way.

And underneath it all, there can be this quiet feeling: Will I know what to do when the time comes? Will we be ready?

If that is where you are, you are not alone.

What many people do not realise is how much your inner world can shape your experience of birth. The stories you have heard, the fears you carry, and the way your nervous system responds to stress all matter. When we understand that, we can prepare very differently.

We know that fear activates the stress response, and stress can work against the natural process of labour. Tracey has spent more than 20 years helping families understand this, not by pretending birth is easy, but by helping them work with birth in a calmer, more informed and more supported way.

01 You are not sure what to expect

Every birth story sounds different. It can be hard to know what is helpful, what is fear-based, and what actually matters. You want to understand how birth works, what your body is doing, and how to respond when labour becomes intense from a place of knowledge, not fear.

02 Your partner wants to help, but may not know how

Most partners want to be useful. They want to support the birthing mother. Without the right preparation, many feel unsure of their role, and that uncertainty can travel into the birth room. One of the biggest shifts we see is what happens when partners learn how to genuinely support a woman in labour. They become gold. Their confidence changes the feel of the whole room.

03 Hardly anyone prepares you for early parenting

Most courses stop at the birth. But birth is not the end of the story. It is the beginning of parenting. The early weeks and months can be beautiful, emotional, intense and disorienting. You deserve support for that part too.

04 You do not want to do this alone

There is no shortage of information out there. But information is not the same as support. You want a trusted guide. A place to ask real questions. A community around you. A sense that someone is walking with you, not just handing you a handout and sending you on your way.

THE TRANSFORM PARENTING DIFFERENCE

Birth is not just something that happens to you.
It is something that changes you.

Every woman who has given birth knows this in some way. Something shifts. The person who walks out of that birth room is not quite the same as the person who walked in.
Tracey Anderson Askew has spent more than 20 years exploring what that transformation is, and how to prepare for it with more intention.

Through her training in Rapid Transformational Therapy, Tracey brings a deeper understanding of how beliefs, fear and the nervous system shape the birth experience. This is part of what gives her work its depth. She does not just teach couples what happens in labour. She helps them understand what may be happening underneath the surface too.

When a woman approaches labour from a place of fear, her body can move into stress and tension. When she feels calm, safe and supported, her body is far more able to work with the process of birth. This is why preparation matters so much. Not just information, but the kind of preparation that helps you feel different on the inside.

That is what Transform Your Birth is designed to do.

It helps you understand birth, practise tools that support calm and confidence, and gently shift the fears and stories that may otherwise make the experience harder than it needs to be.
This is why the work does not stop with the workshop. What happens in birth can shape how you enter parenthood, and that is why ongoing support matters too.

Chapter 1 Transform Your Birth

This is where it begins. You will understand how birth works, learn practical tools for breathing, relaxation and mindset, and begin to shift the beliefs that might otherwise work against you in labour. You will leave genuinely ready, both of you.

Chapter 2 The Village Prenatal

From the moment you enrol, you are not doing this alone. You step into the Village during pregnancy, with access to Tracey’s guidance, monthly Q&A sessions, the online course materials, and a community of other parents preparing alongside you.

Chapter 3 The Village Postpartum

When your baby arrives, the support continues. Parenting coaching, real conversations, the mothers’ group, practical resources, and a community that genuinely understands what this season feels like. Because becoming a parent changes you, and you deserve support through that change.

FROM FAMILIES WHO HAVE BEEN HERE

“Tracey is a fantastic presenter, she is warm and makes you feel instantly at ease. We had such a good time at her weekend course, the information covered was so useful, made so much sense and has helped us so much. My husband said the same, he feels better equipped to support me as best he can to welcome our baby. Every soon to be parent needs to meet Tracey and take as much as possible from her incredible amount of knowledge and passion for the beauty and transformational power of birth.“

~ Elise

“Such an empowering course that inspires you to embrace what your body is capable of. To walk away from the course with tools and strategies that allow you to birth with love was the greatest gift. Both myself and my birthing partner felt supported and ready to embrace the birthing journey no matter how the birthing experience presented.“

~ Kim

“Tracey is a born educator. Her use of personal anecdotes – including fresh humour and digital media – mixed with information on empirical evidence – science on anatomy, physiology, hormones – and latest clinical and midwifery thinking is excellent. Tracey caters for all types of mums, with differing levels of knowledge and who seek and absorb data differently.”

Frequently asked q's

Why is Transform Your Birth the best pregnancy and birthing class?

With decades of experience in the maternity and birthing class space, Tracey is by your side every step of the way as you prepare for your birth and become a new parent.

Transform Your Birth offers you weekly opportunities to ask Tracey questions in the live Q&A calls before your birth, and for one year afterward as you care for your newborn child.

Starting with your understanding of labour and birth, Transform Your Birth will help you birth fearlessly and then cope with the changes to your mind, body, and family as you are caring for a newborn baby.

When is the ideal time to attend Transform Your Birth?

We see couples in all stages of their pregnancies; however, we find it is most beneficial for couples to come in their second trimester or at the beginning of their third trimester (approx. 30 weeks). This will allow enough time before your due date to practice the relaxation activities assigned to you by your Transform Your Birth Educator and fit in a Transform Your Birth pre-natal catch-up group visit.

If you’re feeling particularly anxious about birth in your early pregnancy, please feel free to attend earlier. We also offer opportunities to revisit our birth classes prior to birth.

If there is a higher chance you might need to have a caesarean section, please contact us before enrolling and we can assess your needs and potentially offer you an alternative form of birth preparation specific to your circumstances.

What is the benefit of attending an antenatal class?

An antenatal class, also known as a prenatal, or birth preparation class, is an opportunity for expectant couples to learn about pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting.

Transform Your Birth is unique because you will learn how to harness your mind and handle the intensity of labour and birth so that your experience is easier, less painful, and even enjoyable.

Traditional antenatal classes are focussed on the mechanics of birth, but Tracey goes beyond this to help empower you to love your birth experience.

What is the difference between in-person and live online?

The in-person workshop is held in Canberra, ACT, across two full days with Tracey. The live online option is delivered across four 1.5-hour Zoom sessions. Both include the same core teaching, the same practical tools, and the same preparation for both you and your partner.

What does RTT mean in practice?

Rapid Transformational Therapy is one of the approaches Tracey has trained in, and it helps inform the deeper preparation she brings to birth work. It looks at how subconscious beliefs, fear responses and old patterns can affect the way we feel and function. In birth preparation, this helps couples understand what may be getting in the way, and how to approach labour with more calm, trust and confidence.

When does my Village membership begin?

The moment you enrol, not when your baby arrives. You join the Village prenatal track immediately, so you are already receiving support, accessing materials and connecting with community during pregnancy.

How does the transition to postpartum work?

When your baby arrives, you let us know through a simple form inside the Village. From there, your support shifts into the postpartum stage, including coaching, resources, community and guidance for early parenting. No new purchase. No extra admin.

What happens after the first year?

Your Village membership renews at A$300 per year. You will receive a reminder before renewal and can continue or cancel at any time. Many families choose to stay because the support continues to be genuinely valuable as their children grow.

Can I upgrade my tier after enrolling?

Yes. If you start with Transform Your Birth and later decide you would like to add the Village or move into Complete Transformation, simply contact the team and we will help you upgrade at the difference in price.

Is this suitable for second-time parents?
Yes. Tracey offers a refresher option for families who have previously completed CalmBirth or Transform Your Birth. Contact the team for refresher pricing and upcoming dates.
Is this course suitable for planned cesareans?

If you are planning a cesarean section, we recommend booking a private 2-hour session with Tracey. This session will cover specific topics relevant when having a cesarean, such as: preparing for the birth, the role of the mind in birth, breathing physiology, relaxation and visualisation, and the partner's role in the birth. A private session costs $525.

What is your Refund Policy?

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is payable upon enrollment in the Transform Your Birth course. The remaining balance is refundable up until seven (7) days prior to the commencement of the course. A refund of the balance after this date will be considered in exceptional circumstances such as premature birthing, and is at the discretion of the Course Facilitator.

Do you offer Payment Plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available. Please contact hello@transformparenting.com.au after enrolment if you wish to organise a payment plan for the remaining $525 amount. Please note: A $30 administration fee will apply and all payments must be paid prior to commencing the class.

Can I claim on Insurance?

Tracey is a registered and accredited Childbirth Educator, however Private Health Insurers generally don’t provide rebates for Childbirth Educators, only midwives. We recommend contacting your health provider to check if it is claimable. You can then contact our office at hello@transformparenting.com.au to obtain a detailed invoice if required.
